1 - Introduce your sticker art project
The sticker project came after the completion of the Visual Arts course, held at the Federal University of Uberlândia. In 2010, I was researching about urban arts and I got to know the stickers. Through social networks I met artists and events. I have participated in several exchanges, exhibitions of stickers and I promote events in Uberlândia of urban art.
Initially I created characters focused on the preservation of fauna and flora. All at hand. Later, with silkscreens, I created stickers from photographs of my face, new and old, objects that I appreciate and the city of Ouro Preto / MG. From the name of the city of Gold Black (Ouro Preto), I created my nickname ROPRE = ouROPREto.
Now I make stickers from woodcuts, serigraphs, fingerprints and freehand.
Propaganda as self-promotion, as a joke to glue a fragment of my personality around the world. Perhaps the opposite of all my artistic work, which has always been critical and of denunciation. For me, creating, distributing and pasting stickers has always been about fun, transgression, invasion of urban space. Also, a way to break through space barriers: always present in the world.
Between the years of 2011, 2012 and 2013 I invested a lot of time and money to producing and distributing stickers worldwide. The main goal was to make art accessible, public, free. But since I've been working a lot with gallery shows, there's no time left to create and distribute stickers. So I devote myself to promoting events to harvest, paste, and disseminate artists and urban art images.
2 - In what creative ways have you collaborated with other sticker artists?
In 2015 I held the collective exhibition "Preto Estelar", in the city of Uberlândia, replicating objects used by Stelleconfuse in honor of Keith Haring. Supporting a project that came about in Italy. In 2018 it is the turn of Vinylone, partner in organizing the next Festival of Stickers, which will be exhibited in November 2018 in the city of Campina Grande, Brazil.
3 - Have you ever organized an event about sticker art? If not, you can write something about an event you have attended
I participated, for first time, in an urban art event - Free Art Fest - in Germany in 2011 and this provoked me. I wanted to bring the same event format to the city where I was born. So Between 2011 and 2016 I realized Uberinvasão with the purpose of receiving, exhibiting and distributing urban art of artists from all over the world, in the city of Uberlandia / MG - Brazil. The various editions of this sticker festival had the purpose to promoting and popularizing the art of making artistic stickers in Uberlandia. This gave visibility to local and foreign artists. In 2018, the festival of stickers expands and reaches another city: in November, Sticker Arte Urbana will be in Campina Grande / PB.
In parallel, I held stickers festivals, taking the stickers of artist friends to the streets, transit boards, and other media.
4 - What are your future projects in the world of sticker art?
In 2018, together with Vinylone, I will hold a call to present a collective exhibition of stickers in Campina Grande / PB-Brasil. I will bring into a Municipal Theater a street culture. In the city where the exhibition will take place there are no artists who practice urban art, people can get in touch with urban art in the gallery and so can be encouraged to know better the sticker art.

5 - What sticker artists do you admire or are important to you?
I admire the works of artists like Stelleconfuse, which was the first with which I had the most intense contact. Vinylone, which contributes to the distribution and dissemination of artists from around the world. The work of the German HalloKarlo is very widespread and admirable. In Brazil there are the works of Vinyl Colante, Ipo, Cola Aqui, Drão, Reribs, Garde, Naipe and many others.

1 - Apresentar seu projeto de arte de etiqueta
O projeto com etiquetas surgiu após a conclusão do curso de Artes Visuais, realizado na Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. Em 2010, estava pesquisando sobre artes urbanas e conheci os stickers. Através das redes sociais conheci artistas e eventos. Desde então participo de várias trocas, exposições de stickers e promovo eventos em Uberlândia de arte urbana.
Inicialmente criei personagens voltados para a preservação da fauna e flora. Todos à mão livre. Posteriormente, com serigrafias, criei adesivos a partir de fotografias de meu rosto, novas e antigas, objetos que aprecio e da cidade de Ouro Preto/MG. A partir do nome da cidade de Ouro Preto criei meu apelido ROPRE = ouROPREto.
Faço adesivos a partir de xilogravuras, serigrafias, impressões digitais e à mão livre.
As propagandas passaram a ser de autopromoção, como uma brincadeira de colar um fragmento de minha personalidade pelo mundo. Talvez o oposto de todo o meu trabalho artístico, que sempre foi crítico e de denuncia. Para mim, criar, distribuir e colar adesivos sempre teve objetivo de divertimento, transgressão, invasão do espaço urbano. Além disso, uma forma de romper barreiras espaciais. Estar presente no mundo.
Entre os anos de 2011, 2012 e 2013 investi muito tempo e dinheiro produzindo e distribuindo adesivos pelo mundo. O objetivo principal era tornar a arte acessível, pública, livre. Mas como passei a trabalhar muito com exposições em galerias, não está sobrando tempo para criar e distribuir adesivos. Então dedico-me em promover eventos para colher, colar e divulgar os artistas e imagens de arte urbanos.
2 - De que forma criativa tem você colaborou com outros artistas de etiqueta?
Em 2015 realizei a exposição coletiva “Preto Estelar”, na cidade de Uberlândia, replicando objetos utilizados por Stelleconfuse em homenagem à Keith Haring. Apoiando um projeto que surgiu na Itália. Em 2018 é a vez de Vinylone, parceiro na organização do próximo Festival de Stickers, que terá exposição em novembro de 2018, na cidade de Campina Grande, Brasil.
3 - Você já organizaram um evento sobre a arte da etiqueta? Se não, você pode escrever algo sobre um evento que você participou
Participei de um evento de arte urbana – Free Art Fest – na Alemanha, em 2011 e isso me provocou. Desejei trazer o mesmo formato de eventos para a cidade onde nasci. Entre 2011 e 2016 realizei o Uberinvasão com o objetivo de receber, expor e distribuir arte urbana de artistas do mundo todo, na cidade de Uberlandia/MG – Brasil. Houveram também 4 edições de festivais de stickers, com objetivo de divulgar e popularizar a arte de fazer adesivos artísticos, em Uberlandia. Isso deu visibilidade a artistas locais e do exterior. E para 2018, o Festival de stickers se amplia e alcança outra cidade. Em novembro, o Sticker Arte Urbana será em Campina Grande/PB.
Paralelamente, realizei festivais de stickers, levando para as ruas, placas de transito, e outros suportes os adesivos de amigos artistas.
4 - Quais são seus projetos de futuros no mundo da arte da etiqueta?
Em 2018 realizarei, juntamente com Vinylone, uma convocatória para expor em Campina Grande / PB-Brasil, uma mostra coletiva de stickers. Levando para dentro de um Teatro Municipal uma cultura de rua. Na cidade onde haverá a exposição, não há artistas que praticam arte urbana Então, poderão ter contato dentro da galeria com a arte urbana E, quem sabe isso incentive as pessoas a se aproximar de stickers art
5 - Que artistas de etiqueta que você admira ou são importantes para você?
Admiro os trabalhos de artistas como Stelleconfuse, que foi o primeiro com o qual tive contato mais intenso. Vinylone, que contribui com a distribuição e divulgação de artista do mundo todo. O trabalho do alemão Hallo Karlo é muito freqüente e admirável. No Brasil há os trabalhos de Vinil Colante, Ipo, Cola Aqui, Drão, Reribs, Garde, Naipe e muitos outros.
