1 - Introduce your sticker art project
I have been following stickers and street art for years and wanted to do something themselves, but never knew what to do and how. After seeing the Banksy movie "Exit Through The Gift Shop", I say to myself now you must start slapping.
My stickers are a tribute to a almost forgotten champ/legend the Rotterdam boxer Cor Eversteijn (Jimmi Granti 1949 - 1983).
I spread my art with stickers because its addiction, some are handmade and some are printed.
2 - In what creative ways have you collaborated with other sticker artists?
3 - Have you ever organized an event about sticker art? If not, you can write something about an event you have attended
In 2015 I did with Sanne (Bunny Brigade) , Wojo and Julia die Pun Katze a world record sticker combo in Amsterdam. We were busy with sticking for more than 6 hours: 12 square meter!
4 - What are your future projects in the world of sticker art?
Keep spreading Jimmi...
5 - What sticker artists do you admire or are important to you?
Without Satoshi Nakamoto and Sanne (Bunny Brigade) it was probably never really started with slapping, I am eternally grateful for those two. The sticker scene is great and seems to be a family worldwide. When I travel, I always try to meet with a local artist. It is also nice when a artist comes to Rotterdam and then meet each other.
