Brothers in Sticker Art: Pozt.

Stickers in the street from: 2016

City: Düsseldorf

State: Germany

1 - Introduce your sticker art project

The project on fried egg was born by accident. We wanted to cut a sticker collab on foil. It should look like a Graffiti with something in the middle and we decidet to take some food. My collabo partner creates a donut and I thaught a fried egg would be easy to cut and looks crazy and here we are now.

In Germany you can say 'eggs' instead of 'balls/nuts' (yes, these ones under your penis). So one message is to have the nuts and just do your thing! And the other (opposite meaning) is just to relax and swing your balls.

The basis are handmade stickers on outdoor foil. Mostly I spray the egg, then draw the outlines and cut it out. But I also have a hand full motives done with graphic freeware to let them print.

In my opinion stickers are such an ideal instrument to cover the cities with little pieces of art without doing one big action or something like that. You can create and stick them nearly everywhere. And you can give a part of your art very easily to other people all over the planet.

Girls like my eggs.

2 - In what creative ways have you collaborated with other sticker artists?

In most cases we sit together and cut or draw them together, too. But if there are artist from other parts of the country or world you can send your stickers to each other or communicate through the internet, Instagram for example.

In Instagram was born my first collab story. The digital "Bill Knospy" collab whit Eine Schrecklich Fette Familie is still fun and more actual than ever, what we didnt expected. And I always like collabrations which just have its own flow.

3 - Have you ever organized an event about sticker art? If not, you can write something about an event you have attended

Never organized, but visited many events. "Berlin klebt" at YAAM Berlin is getting more and more international, you can meet a lot of artists there. Also on similar events.

4 - What are your future projects in the world of sticker art?

Maybe more porn and always collaboration sticker.

5 - What sticker artists do you admire or are important to you?

There are so many very talented and really great sticker artists out there, I can't name them all. But these I know personal are almost all good peple I will remember. Still one of my closest friends is Kalle (@karl_heinz_swaggert), who also got me into this world.
